You have a period of 45 days from receipt of the product to return it (if you are a consumer and user in accordance with the applicable regulations, this period includes the period you have to exercise your right of withdrawal for online purchases).
The return of the product will only be accepted if:
- The product has not been used.
- The product is in perfect condition.
- The product is returned well packed in the original packaging and containing all its accessories, manuals, labels, and any other components, all of them also unused and in their original packaging, if any.
To proceed with the return of the product, you must send the following documents to the e-mail address returns@kateurope.com:
- The purchase invoice for the product.
- The duly completed product return form you can download here
- A photo of the technical data sheet or registration document of the vehicle for which the product was purchased.
Upon receipt of all the documentation necessary to process the return, Kat Europe will send the carrier to collect the returned product from the collection address you have indicated on the return form. You undertake to keep and store the product in an appropriate manner for as long as it is in your possession.
The return costs, amounting to €19.00, shall be borne by the purchaser and deducted from the amount to be refunded, except in the following cases where the return costs shall be borne entirely by Kat Europe:
- Return of a product which presents manufacturing defects and where the warranty has been approved by Kat Europe. Please note that defects caused by misuse, neglect, damage to property, tampering, improper adjustment or ordinary wear and tear, as well as defects due to improper installation in your vehicle will not be considered manufacturing defects.
- Return of a part due to logistical issues attributable to Kat Europe (e.g. product that has been damaged in shipping transport or does not correspond to the product ordered by the customer).
For explanatory purposes, we specify below two frequent cases of returns in which the return costs would be borne by you and will be deducted from the amount to be refunded:
- Returns due to incompatibility of the Product with your vehicle: You are solely responsible for the choice and selection of the Products and must ensure the compatibility of the Products purchased with your vehicle and check the characteristics of your vehicle before placing the order.
- Returns due to non-delivery: In the event that the carrier returns the order because You are absent or do not receive it at the delivery address indicated in the order, or because You have not collected the order at the agreed collection point within the period established by the carrier, the costs of returning the order shall be borne by You and shall be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
Please note that while Kat Europe endeavours to meet delivery times, our delivery times are estimates and guidelines, based on the services of the logistics operators. You cannot claim any compensation from Kateurope in the event of a delay in the delivery of your order. In any case, delivery times (preparation time and delivery time) may not exceed thirty (30) days from the validation of the order. Once this period has elapsed, You may proceed with the cancellation of the sale by sending a written request to Kat Europe via email, WhatsApp number or the ‘Online Support’ section on our website and, in the event that the Product has been sent to You, the cost of returning the Product shall be borne by Kat Europe.
In any case, in case of significant delay in the preparation and shipment of your order, we kindly ask you to contact our ‘Customer Service’ to find a solution as soon as possible.
Once the returned product has been received at our warehouse, Kat Europe will check the condition of the product in order to determine the reason for the return and the condition of the returned product. We reserve the right to refuse a refund, in whole or in part, if the returned product does not meet the return requirements specified herein.
In the event that all the requirements to approve the return are met, Kat Europe will refund the price of the product (deducting the shipping and return costs when they correspond to the customer) by the same method of payment used by the customer to make the purchase, within 15 days of receipt of the product at Kat Europe's facilities.
